The inaugural Berks Biomedical Innovation Collaborative event brought together 130 leaders, innovators, and professionals from across the region to explore the future of bioscience, healthcare, and technology. The event featured engaging speakers, insightful presentations, and meaningful conversations that highlighted the innovation happening throughout Berks County. Most importantly, the event created a space for collaboration, connection, and new ideas that continue to strengthen the region’s biomedical and life sciences community.
Event Highlights
The 1st Annual Berks Biomedical Innovation Collaborative (BIC) Bioscience in Berks Conference featured 22 speakers - local and regional thought leaders, innovators, and industry professionals to share advancements in bioscience, healthcare, and technology. Highlights included a keynote from LifeAire CSO Dr. Kathryn Worrilow, presentations from academic and industry experts, and a panel discussion focused on the future of bioscience and innovation in Berks County. The event also created opportunities for collaboration across healthcare, education, business, investment, and government, highlighting the growing life sciences ecosystem in the region.
